My experience with SC Prep and the amazing staff at westside community center has been outstanding!! I highly recommend this program for any parent or child needing a little extra support, it's a program you will not regret!!

Becoming a teenager and having to grow faster with life than my age really put me in a slump. Meeting the mentors God has placed in my life and becoming a part of a program that has become more like a family has been nothing but a blessing. It brought the real Justyn back.
Justyn Gaines - Student - Senior
This program means everything to me just because it allows me to be around great mentoring and community service projects. It’s helped me understand the importance of manhood. Also, my mentors have blessed me with many great opportunities. My favorite part of the program is honestly our environment. Everyone just gets along together and there’s never an issue with disrespect.
Zahi Cherry - Student - Junior
We love the mentoring program and how it not only is helping give the students a good education but it is teaching them the importance of giving back to the community. Our boys are learning the importance of working together with one another. Having Coach Peppers as their mentor has been very beneficial to their growth as young men. Coach Peppers is a very humble person who is always willing to help these young me. We just can't say enough about how thrilled we are to have the boys be a part of this program and wish we would have enrolled them sooner.

It’s been amazing for us! Our son is probably looking to Graduate early now. You can work at your own pace as well and seems like help is more available this way.
